well, they way the reccomended in seventeen magazine, was keep a curler in your hair for 30 seconds, the pin it to your head with 2 inch sections of hair. mist with hairspray. leave all these pins in your hair for30-45 minutes, and unpin :)

Thats soft curls. section your hair and get heated rollers and if your hair is semi long then you need med rollers and large rollers if your hair is long then spary with a holding spray and roll it up to half way not all the way to your crown then leave it there for 1 hour depending on how hot the rollers are, then just undo 1 and see if it's curly enough for you if not leave it longer, then when your ready undo all the hair and with your fingers very gently undo a bit of the curls and spary with hairspray.

After you get out of the shower blow dry your hair and as your drying it use a thick brush that's has brissals all the way around it. Take a section of your hair with the brush and work your way down with the blow dryer. After it is dry section your hair into a few parts just so its easier to work with. Then take any curling iron size... depending on how tight of a curl you want... my girl uses a 1 1/2 inch. Take a piece of your hair roll it inward till you get to the scalp. Let it sit there for 20 seconds approximately then release the curling iron. Then use aerosol hairspray and spray it pretty good. it should work and defiantly should stay in.
