sorry but no, your hair is pretty the way it is and dark is VERY in right now, if you realllly want to do somthin go for highlights a couple shades lighter than your hair color

Please, don't get those chunky highlights, they would look HORRIBLE!

If your going to get some get some really skinny ones, and make sure that their done well.

You don't want to fully destract from your lovely dark color.

Or one of my friends has hair like yours, and she but a little darker than platinum blonde highlights just in her bangs, and it looked reeeeeeeally cute!

I would be a little concerned with the Plantinum blonde highlights turning orangish in color. This is because naturally dark hair contains far more red pigmentation !! Also, in order to acheive this look, you will literally need to lighten the whole head of hair, then add dark streaks ( or chunks ) back into the hair. This can cause severe hair damage ( damage to the hair shaft ). Frizzy hair and split ends never look on anyone ! Thick types of dark hair can never achieve natural blonde highlights without the provision of an all-over lightening base color. Even in this case, dark porous hair types will endure severe cuticle damage during the coloring process

If you really want to go for this look, please see a professional ! And try and make sure that they have a great reputation because Judge Judy is filled with cases of hair mishaps !

I do think that you could try to go for a honey or golden highlight. And, because your natural hair color is dark, it will look lighter but suit your skin coloring and hair color better !
