How do you make your hair really shine?

^That is a picture of my hair (same color, just one is taken with more lighting). Sometimes it is shinier than other times. Any tips for me? Thanks!

Oh, and if it helps, my hair is very long (to the small of my back, almost), and fairly thick. It's healthy though...no split or dead ends.

Ok my hair is exactley the same when you flat iron it or whatever you do y oit even if you just brush it and go, you should look for a hairspray called: "Aquage". its in a blue can and is says on the bottom, "beyond shine" ask about it at a beauty store or salon. A lot of salons have it. My mom works at a salon but as the receptionist but the girls who work their give her all this cool stuff to use. i use "Aquage" all the time. it is awesome!! the best stuff you can use! if you live around niles ohio, like in trumbull county, or something, try to go to Tara Mia spa and salon. there is one in cleveland too. Look it up on mapquest to see if Tara Mia is in your area. But deffinately ask your local salons about it and try at Target or any stores as well!! "Aquage" works awesome my hair is thick and long as well. If you can't find "Aguage" try "Garnier Fructis" "sleek and shine waitless anti-frizz shine serum" or brilliantine shine cream gel" they work awesome just as well. its all great stuff!! You can find the "Garnier Fructis" stuff at Target or other simple places as well!! Hope that helps a lot!!
