How would I tease my hair to acheive this style? (Picture Inside)?

I've been trying and failing to get my hair like this. I have the right cut. I just can't seem to get the top right. I need to know how to tease/style the top of my head like this:

I do this every morning. infact i have the same colors/length.

Take the top layer, hold it up and spray it after straightening whole head. Take a round barrel brush, and brush down.

Start with the side without the bangs. Make your hair in sections, and start to tease from bottom to top. Then go to the back of your head. Do the same. then the side with your bangs. Ta-Da!

First off, do you have razor haircut needed to do so?

Next, straighten the bottom layers.

Get strong hold mousse, and run your fingers upwards through the top half of your hair. If you have a roller brush, use it to tease with.

Well. Everyone seems to be correct. The way I've seen it done anyway. I've got a couple friends that have the same haircut. One with exactly the same colours. It's obviously very popular haha
