Hair Color!?

I'm natually a mousy blonde (currently have hight lights and a few low lights), icy blue eyes, and very fair skin. I was thinking about dying my hair brown. Would this color look to dark? Can anyone include any pictures of somebody with brown hair, fair skin, and blue eyes??? Thanks!

I don't think it's possible to include pictures in these answers, but I've provided some links to pictures. :)

Whether it will "look too dark" or not really depends on your preference! It is your hair, after all! :) Such a look WILL get you noticed, though! It isn't subtle.

Blue-eyed brunettes look incredibly striking. Cool ash browns complement a cool complexion due to the dramatic contrast between pale neutral skin and very dark hair. Both blue and grey eyes gain intensity.

Darker colours have the most potent light reflecting qualities and so work well with bobs and long styles as they emphasise sleekness.

Cool brunette shades are among the most striking, but their lack of warmth can be harsh. Go particularly carefully if you're doing it yourself. Dark-brown shades off the shelf often come out as black.

These are some famous blue-eyed ladies with brown hair:

Cameron Diaz 閳?(a natural blonde, but she sometimes lowlights it to brown.)

Dark brown hair with a cool violet hue gives Cameron's blue eyes a boost and ushers in a sultry new persona.

Sadie Frost 閳?another blue-eyed girl in love with bitter chocolate locks.

Cut to bob length the vibe is one of effortless chic.

Alsou (famous Russian model) 閳?br> http://www.rususa.com/photo/gallery.asp-...

With her natural raven-black shade, Alsou's pale blue eyes and porcelain complexion are enhanced. Make-up - a pale base and rosy blush - is integral to the look's success.

You may want to try a temporary hair-darkening rinse first, before you go with permanent color. One such: Aveda Black Malva Shampoo (www.aveda.com)

You might want to go to a honey-brown colour. Why not try low-lights first? That way, you can get adjusted to the colour and it won't be so drastic a change.

I think it may look too dark, change the colour gradually or use a wash-out dye to see how it looks!

Hair Color!?

I think it kind of depends on what look you're going for. You could look stunning with darker hair, but it'll definitely be a different look. I knew someone who had naturally black hair and very pale skin, and she stood out in a crowd because of it. I think you should try it and see what it looks like.

going so dark...all one color...will shock you every time you walk by a mirror!! Trust me, I've done it. My son's girlfriend has coloring like you. Her hair is naturally very light blonde, and I could not picture her dark. It would look really un-natural.

It's like when Cameron Diaz went dark. Her eyes looked great, but it didn't fit her personality. That's MY problem. Everytime I go dark (I've done it several times since I'm a stylist!) I hate it. Be you.....if you still want to go darker, I urge you to try a heavy lowlight first!!! Don't go buy a box and try it at home. It'll only cost you a ton to have it fixed!!!

Good luck.

if you just put the dark color over your lowlights and highlights you already have it may look a little dark at first but the lowlights and highlights arent totally repigmented hair and with several washings the lowlights and highlights will reappear throughout your freshly colore dark hair and will look beautiful...................go for it...............

Hair Color!?

just experiment

i would do a dark brown
